Information
A former teacher and a grandmother of ten, all nine of my childrens books are in rhyme and all try to teach something like good manners and caring for others. My newest release, A Penny for Your Thoughts, is about putting feelings into words. In 2011-18, I have won sixty National Awards for all my books including The Golden Rule, Mice & Spiders & Webs...Oh My!, My Fingerpaint Masterpiece, Manner-Man, Gimme-Jimmy,The Magic Word, Peter and the Whimper-Whineys, and Santa’s Birthday Gift. I also have written seven published and internationally produced plays for elementary school children. A magna cum laude graduate of The American University, I have had a varied career: I was a teacher and coach, and then a newspaper sports photographer and columnist; later a Dinner Theatre and Talent Manager; and finally a Business Administrator. My husband of 58 years and I are now retired, and travel in our RV from coast to coast each year to spend time with our grandchildren... sharing my books along the way!
