| Q: | What else can you tell us about your book? |
| A: |
The Legend of Oescienne ~ The Finding is the story of a human infant found and raised by dragons in a world where her kind no longer exist. I consider it a middle-grade to young adult fantasy epic that would appeal mostly to young girls looking for a strong heroine to relate to, but by no means is restricted only to them. This story also contains elements of magic, adventure, a little mystery and the importance of friendship.

| Q: | What makes this book different than all the other YA fantasies out there? |
| A: |
Although The Finding has much in common with other books of its genre, it has its own unique qualities as well: the "hero" of the book is not a young boy, but a young, headstrong girl. The dragons in this book are of different races from one another, and they communicate and think as clearly as any of the other characters. Finally, the land of Ethoes is a fresh, new world that has its own unique animals and beings, as well as the traditional ones we are more familiar with.
