To be honest, I have heard random comments such as, "it reminds me of liquor," or "the title makes me want to use the bathroom." I happen to find those comments funny, because it can mean many things to many people. But coming from the author, Liquid Sunshine varies from person to person. It is a way of thinking. It can only take place when you have been through a hardship or trial in your life, and you can look back with hindsight and say, "If I didn't go through what I did, I wouldn't be the strong person I am today...I wouldn't have the relationship with God that I have today...I wouldn't be the person of character that I am today."
It is taking a negative and turning it into a positve. This is Liquid Sunshine!
