Verna Clay:  After living in several states and Baja California, Verna and her husband have settled in their favorite locale, Central Oregon. A passion for the written word has always been an integral part of Verna's life. As a preteen, she devoured Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys' Mysteries. When she reached her teen years, a love for romance books took their place and never left. About five years ago, Verna decided to try her hand at writing and she's been doing so with a passion ever since. Her latest endeavor has been writing in the Contemporary Western Romance genre. Her book Dream Kisses started out being a single novel, but turned into a series when secondary characters cried out for their own stories.

For many years, Verna has also had a passion for researching the unexplained and exotic locations. Ultimately, she wanted to share that research in an exciting way. To that end, she's written fictional stories blending reality with fantasy and the paranormal, and then spiced the mix with romantic tension, mystery, and adventure.
