Wren Avery has been drawing since her mother put pencil and paper before her to keep her quiet. A flower child of the hippie era, Wren painted on any surface available during those years, using sheets for canvas, mailboxes and sides of buildings when no one was looking. Throughout her parenting years, she maintained her sanity by drawing, painting, designing posters and tattooing in the Pacific Northwest. Wren is currently illustrating a series called, 'Weyland's Forge', for author, James Staples. With the impetus of seven grandchildren, she is also planning a series of children's books focusing on honoring and celebrating all life.
