She writes historical and paranormal romance novels that focus on the forbidden aspects of passionate love where class, culture, religion, time, death, and species differences are all obstacles. Her unique characters and their awkward nuances invoke strong emotions in readers, making them real, in spite of their fantastical nature. She creates worlds of past, present, and future with detailed scenes and descriptive images which provide a supple canvas for these original, paradoxical characters to exist.
