MK Chester is an author of historical romance, contemporary romance, and paranormal/urban fantasy stories.  She has also published historical research, short non-fiction, and poetry.  With four Vintage Roses published by The Wild Rose Press, she is now focused on finding a home for a historical romance set in pre-Christian Rome, and reworking a five-book urban fantasy series.  She is a member of Romance Writers of America and its Nashville chapter, Music City Romance Writers.

When not writing, Marty is a college administrator and history professor.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, the arts, travel, and playing with her crazy but lovable Scottie pups, Stewie and Angus.
