About Me:

title-about.jpg

Growing up in South Africa, Lesley Ann's life story is rich and full of adventures. Together with her young family, she came to Canada in 1987 and began carving a new kind of life. After writing her own story, ‘The Sand Angel’, Lesley Ann Marcovich discovered first-hand what a gift telling your story can be.

“It helped me navigate my thoughts through the messiness and marvels of life. And it provided an honest and lasting way to honour unforgettable people.”

Lesley Ann went on to ghostwrite stories for others. Stories about: farm life in Nova Scotia, surviving the trenches in WW11, growing up in Scotland in the thirties, experiencing the harsh realities of racism in Canada. Plus several other personal journeys.

Using her investigative skills, her natural ability to get to the heart of the story, and her engaging writing style, Lesley Ann’s stories are enjoyed by many.

Now Lesley Ann wants to share her passion for telling life stories with everyone.

“It’s not just for the rich and famous. Everyone has a story to tell. People kept asking me for help on how to do it. That’s why I wrote the Biography Workbook…to help people tell their stories.”

When not busy writing, Lesley Ann spends time with her growing family, runs reminiscing groups, works with bereaved teens, conducts writing workshops, and enjoys gourmet cooking and dancing. All good fodder for an ongoing life story!
