Wade McCoy, MD is a family practice physician at Gilbert Medical Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. He met Dr. Kirkland in 1986 in an Introduction to Biology class at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Dr. McCoy is from rural Reydon, Oklahoma, a town of less than 200 people. He currently lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters.  “Rainbow in the Dark” is McCoy's debut novel.
