Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Shirley knew she wanted to write from an early age. Her creative imagination and love for "make -believe" keeps her active as both a historical romance writer and a non-fiction devotional writer. When not writing, Shirley keeps busy with her teaching career. She presently lives on the southern coast of Oregon with her husband and beloved animals.
