I'm the author of the novel Men of Winter and the forthcoming novella and story collection Weeping with an Ancient God, both from Punkin House. My fiction has appeared in numerous journals, including Glimmer Train Stories, The Chariton Review, PANK, and Pisgah Review. I hold a Ph.D. in English studies and teach writing and literature classes in a variety of academic settings. I live with a Siberian husky and about a million books near Springfield, Illinois.
