K. McCracken has been a book enthusiast, since she was a child. Even before she could read, she would sit and stare at books for hours, making up her own story to go with the illustrations.
Her love for books increased over the years. As an avid reader, she discovered that she not only loved reading, but enjoyed creating stories, too.
K. McCracken is married and the proud mother of four children. She lives with her family, in Kentucky, but makes frequent trips to her imaginary world.
