I was teaching and living in Thailand for six years and towards the end of my stay, I had a lucid, moving dream that left me with bittersweet sadness and an immense passion for Eli and Rebecca -they gave me the story of their life. I wasn't able to forget their story and arduously wrote every detail down as it was inspired in my mind over the course of three months.
