The Story Behind This Book

It´s hard to tell whether I was already a raving lunatic when I started teaching, or whether I became one as a result of it. It is the most contradictory profession. You´re either too busy getting chewed up by the machinery, or too busy spitting it out. I´ve done more than my fair share of both. The great thing about kids is, they come with built-in BS detectors, bless their darling, hormone-saturated hearts. I wish the same could be said for the grown-ups.
This is the story of Eva, a teacher who stopped getting chewed up by the machinery and got her life back. She did it in Prague, which is a beautiful place to do a lot of things, especially getting your life back, but actually you can do it anywhere. For Eva, it all started with a piece of Moldavite....
