Freado is a website designed to help book lovers win fun prizes while discovering new books. Many of the prizes on Freado are sponsored by participating authors and artisans. It is a form of advertising for them.
The Halloween Festival is an online festival for fans of Horrors,Thrillers and Mystery with over 100 prizes to be won in 24 days.
We have adult content in this Festival. If you are below 18 you are eligible to receive all the Non-Adult books/prizes. Please Note: You will not receive any book/prizes that are marked as Adult content.
To win a prize you can:
- Top the CoverMatcher game on any day - 24 prizes
- Participate in the CoverMatcher Marathon and play the most number of CoverMatcher games. Top three highest players win a grand Hamper each - 3 Hampers.
- Play any of the games on Freado (QuickQuiz, Hangman, CoverMatcher) and accumulate points. Use those points to bid for your desired prizes. - 20prizes
- Participate in the Halloween Contest and answer a simple question. The Top 3 players with the most popular answers will be the winners to a Halloween Bumper Prize each. (So don't forget to invite all your friends to like your answer :))
- Create interesting QuickQuizzes and Hangman games for the Halloween Festival. Three creators of the most played games during the festival win cool prizes. - 3 grand hampers.
- A maximum of 7 prizes can be won per household per month (1 as a Top Covermatcher Player, 1 in Covermatcher Marathon, 2 as a game Creator and 2 by bidding) ....
- Most prizes ship only to addresses in Canada, US and UK. Details are listed on each prize page.
- Prizes subject to availability. If a prize is not available on the day of the contest close, Freado staff will attempt to give you an alternative prize or Amazon gift certificate.
- In cases where the prize is to be shipped by an author, Freado is not responsible for winners receiving prizes. Of course, we'll do our best to ensure that you get the prize by contacting and following up with the respective prize sponsors / authors.
- No purchases necessary. However, our participating authors would appreciate a book review on Freado or Amazon.
- Please play fair and enjoy the Halloween Festival
- Please create clean Hangman games and QuickQuizzes and refrain from using expletives.
- Please do not create fake accounts in order to 'game the system'. If we find out, you will be banned from the site.
- If you win a contest, a mail will be sent to you for the confirmation of your prizes. Please respond within 48 hours else your prize will be given away to the next winner.
