In 1913, Black Handers in Ogden Utah blew up the Eccles mansion. The entire city rallied to put a stop to the criminals. While investigating the case a detective was shot, but not before investigating eight other Black Hand related crimes in Ogden.
Ogden was major hub at this time and people came and went on a daily basis. The trains brought in wholesome hardworking people, violent criminals, and everyone in between.
