The story of RealmShift started as the character of Isiah. I was travelling the world, seeing new and exciting places, trying to figure out what I wanted to do with myself. I'd always wanted to be a writer, I'd always written things for fun, but never seriously pursued the writer's life. While travelling the concept of the character of Isiah came to me and I ruminated on him and the things he might do as I continued travelling, making notes in an ever more dog-eared notebook. By the time I reached Australia I had a really solid story forming in my head, with a powerful, interesting, conflicted hero, and I had to get that story down. That story became the novel RealmShift.
