Esteban's Ascension: A True Story of After Death Communication
THE STORY BEHIND THIS BOOK
This true spiritual adventure tells the story of psychotherapist Carolyn Cobelo's husband's passing in a car accident in which she was a passenger, and her subsequent reunion with him on the other side. Similar in scope to the works of best-selling new age author Doreen Virtue, and inspired by the work of transpersonal psychology pioneers Elisabeth Kubler Ross and Raymond Moody, Cobelo aims to take readers on a journey into the light.
In March 1998, Carolyn Cobelo, M.S.W, and her husband Esteban were visiting Spain to scout possible locations for a second home. While driving, Esteban fell asleep with Carolyn in the passenger seat, swerved off the road and into a metal fence. He later died from internal injuries in a local hospital. Carolyn had the opportunity to stay with her husband's body immediately following his death, and soon had a series of events, including a phenomenon known in research circles as "after death communication," that formed the basis for her book. "I insisted in staying with Esteban's body as long as I could," Cobelo said. The connection remained that night after the accident. "I was terrified to go to sleep because I thought we would lose our connection. I had a hotel room with twin beds. Just before I succumbed to sleep, I looked over at the other bed. He was there, floating, stiff as a board, just above the bedspread. He had on the clothes he was wearing when we had the accident. I knew how hard it was for him to come down into this dimension and I understood he did it to help me." Now 12 years later, Cobelo credits this afterlife experience for allowing her to channel her creativity into finishing a catalog of books, CDs, and, most recently, films. In early 2010, Cobelo released a catalog of her work from the past 20 years on Amazon. Such new audiobook titles include "Angels: Connecting with your Guides in Spirit," and "Crossing Over: Journey into the Light." Cobelo's documentary film “Sacred Space: Searching for the Source” will debut in late 2010 at film festivals nationwide. Cobelo's first book, "Divine Mother Mary Speaks," was released in 1999, and her 2000 follow up, "The Power of Sacred Space: " explored her lifelong interest in ancient ceremonial sites such as Stonehenge and Mayan temples in Guatemala and Mexico. Both books have been consistent sellers throughout the past decade on Amazon. |
