O’Rourke brothers to be inducted into the Section 5 Basketball Hall of Fame on November 20, 2010

The O’Rourke family, father Bill Sr. and son Bill Jr., have been involved in coaching basketball, and quite successfully, in Webster, N.Y., for over 60 years. 

This is the story of the successes attained by the father and son duo, plus the memories and accolades from former players and coaching associates. It also includes the hardwood achievements of the younger son, Tom, who had a great record on the basketball court before an injury ended his career in college.

The final section includes reflections of former players and colleagues of what the O’Rourke family has meant to Webster, and the extended basketball community.
