Description
:

A worldwide earthquake. A planet in chaos. Reality’s fabric—space, time, matter—unraveling. Into this, a man without a past awakens.

The time is moments from now.

Earth has just been struck by a catastrophic worldwide quake. As the survivors stagger toward an impossible recovery, they discover matters are worse than they realized. It appears the fabric of reality is fraying at the seams. The laws of space, time, and matter are breaking down.

Some people adapt; some don't. Some fall prey to newly existent fates worse than death. Whether or not the world can survive such flux is anyone’s guess.

Into this a man loses his memory, a father loses his boy, and a woman who's lost everything is now on the verge of losing her mind. As civilization spirals out of control around them, these three strangers find themselves transforming as drastically as their environment. When their paths merge, they find connections to one another and answers to their respective mysteries that could only exist in the world as it is becoming.

Free Will Flux is not your ordinary science fiction book or post apocalyptic fiction. It is both an inspirational story of the power of the mind and new thought philosophy. Fiction is fact is this glimpse of where we might be headed…if we aren’t already there.

Praise and Reviews
:
By Max H. Herr

"As a 3rd-6th grade elementary school student in the early 1960s, I grew up reading everything Sci-Fi and Fantasy I could get my hands on written by Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Hugh Lofting, and others, and finished high school in 1970, reading more complex things by Jules Verne, Ray Bradbury, and others. It gave me a deep appreciation for the genre, and for the lifelong habit of reading all sorts of books, fiction, non-fiction, historical, crime, sci-fi, fantasy, it just doesn't matter. I was unable to make each of the Harry Potter books last more than two or three days. I only discovered "The Hobbit" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy in the last 10 years, even though they were recommended to my by an uncle in the 1970s -- my loss! But once I got into "LotR", I couldn't put it down.

The same was true with Free Will Flux -- a non-stop read -- and I see a whole "new Heinlein" about to emerge in the 21st Century. Sage Kalmus' writing is destined to be regarded by a new generation of readers with the same reverence as those of us who know and appreciate Heinlein's and Asimov's work. Free Will Flux is a compelling read, with all the surprises one comes to expect from classic Sci-Fi.

If you are a fan of the classics of the early-mid 20th century, you will thoroughly enjoy Free Will Flux. It is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the sci-fi slop that dominated the 1980s and 1990s."
